Kantara Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 Movie Review :- is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language period action thriller film set during the rule of the Kadambas of Banavasi and written and directed by Rishabh Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Homble Films. It is a prequel to the 2022 film Kantara. Rishabh Shetty is playing the role of Kadubettu Shiva in the film.
Actor Rishabh Shetty made history by presenting and directing the 2022 Kannada superhit film, Kantara. After receiving a massive response in Karnataka, the film was launched in several languages across the country and sought acceptance across India. Now, the first look of Kantara 2, titled Kantara Legend: Chapter 1, has been launched giving a sneak peak at the beginning of the legend that Kantara was primarily based on.
Kantara Chapter 1 Full Movie
The first look is mysterious and dark in color and Rishabh is seen standing in the center of a circle as he appears in a light weight direction. The video begins with the familiar and familiar thunder, which was heard within the first film. Then, the narrator says, “Light. Everyone can see everything in light. But it’s not light, it’s vision. The first look garnered a lot of praise from followers. One consumer commented, “Confirmed…this movie will give Indian cinema global recognition,” while another wrote, “It’s not just a teaser but a goose bump.

Interestingly, the video ends with seven completely different ragas of music representing each of the seven languages through which Kantara Chapter 1 will be launched.
In an earlier interview with indianexpress.com, Rishabh gave updates regarding the sequel. He said, “Writing and pre-production is going on. This year we will start shooting and the plan to release next year is just (next year we are planning to release it). He remained tight-lipped regarding the details of Kantara 2 and said that the crew will announce every part at the right time. “We didn’t do that. Kantara Legend Chapter 1 will launch in seven languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bangla and English and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda’s Homballe Films.
Kantara Chapter 2 Release Date
Kantara (Transl. Mysterious Jungle) is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Rishabh Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Humble Films. The film features Rishabh Shetty in a dual role alongside Kambala Champion, who clashes with an upright forest officer, Murali (played by Kishore).
Set and filmed in Keradi in coastal Karnataka, principal photography began in August 2021. Cinematography by Arvind S. was done by Kashyap, in which B. Ajneesh Loknath composed the music for the film and the motion sequences were choreographed by motion director Vikram More. . The manufacturing design was handled by debutant, Dharni Ganga Soora.

The film was launched on 30 September 2022 to critical acclaim, with awards for its solid performances (mainly Shetty and Kishore’s), chorus, soundtrack, and portrayal of Bhuta Kola. It was a critical commercial success and emerged as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, after KGF: Chapter 2, opening this year.

There lived a king who had a wonderful kingdom in addition to a loving spouse and children, although peace could not be sought. He sets out on a journey to find true happiness and comes upon a sacred stone in the forest possessed by Panjurli Daiva, a deity who protects the villagers living in the forest. He donates an unlimited portion of his land to the villagers in return for taking the stone with him. Panjurli warns the king that his clan and heirs must keep their word and never reclaim the land, which might anger Panjurli’s consort, a fierce god named Guliga Daiwa.

Kantara Chapter 2 Release Date and Time
1990: Murali, a forest officer, is assigned the task of converting the villagers’ land into a forest reserve. However, he is challenged by Shiva, an athlete from Kambala Kadubetu Son of a village and ghat artist. Shiva is supported by his patron and village landlord Devendra Suturu, a descendant of the present king. Real intent to buy is revealed. Guruva refused and Devendra killed him. Knowing that Murali has figured out his plan, Devendra decides to pit Shiva against Murali.
Kantara release date
After learning about Guruva’s death, Shiva meets Devendra, who lies that Murali is Guruva’s killer. Enraged, Shiva goes to kill Murali, though learns from his blacksmith pal Mahadev that Devendra killed Guruva himself. Under the influence of the medicine, Shiva is attacked by Devendra’s goons, though he manages to escape and meet the villagers, informed by Murali.
Devendra’s Land Seized After Shiva reveals that Devendra killed Guruva, he and Murali put aside their anger and unite the village. Devendra and his goons attack, resulting in a fierce battle, in which many villagers are killed. After practically dying within the struggle, Shiva strikes his head against Panjurli’s stone. Guliga Daiva possesses Shiva, enabling him to brutally kill Devendra and his companions.
A few months after the battle, Shiva Bhuta collapses, and is in possession of Panjurli. He, Murali and the villagers join palms in a symbolic gesture. Later, Shiva disappears into the forest after being reunited with what appears to be his father’s spirit. In the mid-credits scene, Shiva and Leela’s son asks Sundara about his father’s disappearance.
