I.S.S. Movie Review:- NASA astronauts Kira Foster and Christian Campbell arrive at the International Space Station (ISS) and are greeted by their companions: American Commander Gordon Barrett and Russian cosmonaut Veronika Vetrov and brothers Nikolai and Alexei Pulov. Despite the cultural and political differences, they come together rightly in a romance with Gordon and Veronica. Kira sees Earth from the house station for the first time with her colleagues, who explain the brief implications to her.

Later, he witnessed many nuclear explosions in the continental United States. Communication with the bottom fails, though Gordon receives a coded message from US officials indicating that the Russian Navy has launched a nuclear attack on the US and that he needs to destroy the ISS “by any means necessary”. Angered by Gordon’s murder, Veronica tells Kira—whom she trusts—to leave in a Soyuz spacecraft with Alexei’s analysis of a cure for radiation sickness. Veronica explains that whoever gets it can decide who survives a nuclear conflict. Veronica creates a distraction by threatening Alexei and Nikolai to destroy the station. Kira searches for Russian lockers for analysis, enlisting Christian’s help in finding “Node Zero”. He says it doesn’t exist, leading Kira to conclude that Veronica lied. Kira and Christian search for the astronauts in a tense standoff that ends with Christian putting Veronica on the back of the top, killing her.
The astronauts retreat. Alexei refuses to kill the Americans, so Nikolai hunts for them alone while Kira and Christian hide. Alexei sees Gordon hanging from a photo voltaic panel and uses a robotic arm to save him, then helps Kira escape from Nikolai. A distraught Gordon becomes extra agitated when he learns of Veronica’s death, arming himself. Nikolai finds them but is tackled by Gordon, who locks them in another module where they fight. The others frantically work to open the hatch, though it turns out that Gordon and Nikolai have killed each other.

After the incident, Kira notices “NODE0” written on the door of the Japanese experiment module. She goes to confront Christian and finds a Soyuz space suit and Russian analysis in his sleep pod. Meanwhile, Christian quietly sabotages the station’s life support system. Kira finds Christian and Alexi inside the galley, and the Americans talk wary of the situation, then try and impress Alexi. Christian tries to attack, injuring Alexey, though Alexey and Kira collectively work to strangle Christian.
Kira treats Alexei’s wound and Alexei restores life support. Communication is restored, allowing the station to stabilize. Both governments request confirmation that astronauts and astronauts have completed their respective missions to take over the station. Not answering to their superiors, Kira and Alexei board the Soyuz spacecraft with Analytical and descend towards Earth. Alexei asks where they are going, and Kira replies “I don’t know”.

Shortly after boarding the Analytical Facility – a high-tech, orbiting laboratory where we are advised to keep its harmonious co-scientists from speaking about “what’s going on over there” to prevent clashes between them. Stay Away – The newest member of the crew, bioengineer Kira. Foster (Ariana DeBose), looks out the window and sees an explosive flash below her. Kira initially believes it’s just a volcanic eruption on the floor of a large, blue marble we call home. Seeing this, as his commander Gordon Barrett (Chris Messina) defines it, is liable to induce something called the “summary effect”: a quasi-spiritual sense of oneness with all humanity, “someone No borders”.
Soon, Gordon and his Russian counterpart (Costa Ronin) received a similar non-public order from their governments: manage this floating tin can — now thought to be the “first step” in a war between the world’s two nations. is Superpowers – by any means necessary.
It’s an intriguing premise, made extra by Nick Shafir’s blurring of projected fidelity within the lean screenplay and a strategic withholding of data that keeps us guessing about what’s going to happen next. At the same time he flirts with themes. Of conflict and cooperation.

Gordon appears to be romantically involved with a Russian scientist (Masha Mashkova). He has two country brothers (Ronin and Pilo Asbaek) whose bond will be tested by their own moral differences. Director Gabriella Cowperthwaite, who has demonstrated expertise in each of the documentaries (“Blackfish”) and fact-based drama (“Megan Levy”), skillfully grounds fairly far-fetched events within real-world divides.
Anchoring the story is DeBose, through whose eyes we navigate the twists and turns of the narrative. There aren’t a thousand surprises here, in a film that usually telegraphs more than expected predictions: Kira, early in the film, discovers that her white mice have turned on each other in one day. have attacked, in which some have been fatally injured. But what a handful of turnabouts there are artfully deployed.
It’s honest – and very revealing – to say that the fake characters in “ISS” (which features John Gallagher Jr. as another American scientist) are the real guinea pigs. Can we not set aside our differences, whether familial, tribal, linguistic or political, and co-operate in closed quarters? In an age of discontent, this inquiry is the best factor about the “ISS” — and it’s not just rhetoric.
