Pushpa 2, Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Postponed, Not To Release On August 15

Track Tollywood reports that the film’s release has been postponed indefinitely due to extensive post-production work. The film’s original editor Karthika Srinivas walked out of the project and Naveen Nooli completed the edits.

IANS reports that director Sukumar is considering reshooting parts of the film to improve the quality of the VFX. Hopefully, this revision will ensure a better viewing experience for the audience.

Though there is no official confirmation from the makers of the film regarding the delay, ‘Pushpa 2’ is now expected to release on Diwali.

With ‘Pushpa 2’ postponed, makers of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films are now eyeing an August 15 release date for their projects, reports IANS.

Singham Again was also postponed

Apart from Pushpa 2, Ajay Devgn starrer Singam Again has also pushed its release date from August 15 to Diwali.

Producer Rohit Shetty shared a poster of his upcoming film on social media with the name and new release date. In the caption, Rohit wrote: “Sher athank machata hai, sakhmi sher tabahi! See you once again in theaters… this Diwali.” Ajay Devgn posted, “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024.” On Thursday during the trailer release of his upcoming film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, Ajay gave an update “Singham again: ” There is some work left for the film and some parts are still to be shot. It’s a big film and we don’t want to rush things. Jaldbaasi mein kam kharab hota hai, we don’t want that to happen (Things often go wrong when done in a hurry, we don’t want that to happen in our film).”

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror-comedy ‘Stree 2’ is now set to release on August 15.
