Assam Police Constable recruitment – Eligibility Criteria

• Constable of Police (Communication):- 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council.
• Preferential Qualification:- One year experiencein Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer, IT or Allied Environment
• Constable of Police (UB) in APRO:- HS or Class- XII Passed from a recognized Boardor Council.
• Constable of Police (Messenger:- HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and having Driving License in LMV & MMV.
• For Constable of Police (Carpenter):- HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade
• Sub Officer:- Class-XII Passed or equivalent (Science) having Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council.
• Firemen and Emergency Rescuers:- Class-XII passed (Science).

For Male

1. Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 mtrs. race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).
2. Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).

For Female

1. Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 mtrs. race to be completed within 8 minutes (480 seconds) .
2. Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
