Eligibility Criteria

(A) Level I For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Teacher (PRT)

1. Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than 50% marks and Passed or showing in remaining 12 months of two 12 months Diploma in Elementary Education. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than 45% marks and Passed or showing in remaining 12 months of two 12 months Diploma in Elementary Education. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than 50% marks and handed OR showing in remaining 12 months of 4 12 months Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than 50% marks and handed OR showing in remaining 12 months of two 12 months Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR

Graduation and handed or showing in remaining 12 months of two 12 months Diploma in Elementary Education (by no matter title recognized).

2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of many topics.

(B) Level – 2 – For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Bachelor Degree with D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. B.ElEd.

Postgraduate Degree with B.Ed.
