IF Movie Review 2024 :- IF is a 2024 American live-action animated fantasy comedy film written, produced and directed by John Krasinski. The movie features Kelly Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Fiona Shaw, Alan Kim, and an ensemble cast with the voices of Lisa Colon-Zayas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., and Steve Carell. Its plot follows a young woman and her neighbor who discover themselves able to see imaginary friends.

Twelve-year-old Bea storms into her grandmother Margaret’s home in New York while her father awaits a coronary heart surgery procedure at the same hospital where her mother died of cancer years ago. She frowns at his playful antics, insisting that she will be able to handle the state of affairs with maturity.

One night, Bea goes out to buy a charger for her mom’s old camcorder and sees an unknown creature, which turns out to be her grandmother’s creation. The next day, she sees the creature once again with a person. Bea follows them to a nearby house where the man, Cal, acquires a large furry purple creature named Blue. She also meets the opposite creature, a butterfly-like creature called Blossom, and faints. She wakes up in Cal’s house where she discovers that he is working with imaginary friends, nicknamed IFs, to keep them with the new youths since their authentic youths have grown up and forgotten them. . The next day, Cal takes Bea to Memory Lane Retirement Home, a retirement group for IFs housed under a hammock in Coney Island. There, he introduces Bea to Lewis, an old teddy bear who is the pinnacle of strength. He convinces Bea to use her creativity to improve the power, much to Cal’s chagrin. Bea tries to match one of several IFs with Benjamin, a young affected person at the hospital. He, Cal, and Lewis audition the IFs, though he is unable to see any of them. They all take him to the hospital. At the hospital, a nurse reassures B that her father will probably be fine. She tells him a story about realizing she’s been pushing herself to behave like an adult when she’s just a kid who wants her father. He gets up they usually hug each other. When Bea walks out of her hospital room, she sees that all the IFs are gone.

Bea goes upstairs to thank Cal, though no one answers her door. The landlady tells Bea that the door opens into an old storage room. After dropping her dad off at the hospital, she and Bea pack up to go home. Bea finds an old picture she painted of herself, her mother and father, and a clown named Calvin. He suddenly realizes that Cal is his personal IF, forgotten after his mother’s death. She rushes to his room and thanks him for serving her and tells him that she will want him all the time. This allows Bea to see Cal and the IFs once more, they usually reunite. After Bea and her father drive off, Margaret asks Blossom if the 2 of them should go in, prompting Blossom to realize that Margaret can see her.
