The film collected 6.75 crores on the first day of release and 4.6 crores on the second day. According to early estimates, it has earned Rs 5.50 crore on the third day in India. ‘Mr. ‘Mrs. Mahi’ has collected 16.85 crores so far. On Sunday, the Hindi occupancy rate of the movie was 22.24% overall.

ABP Live Review of ‘Mr’ Movie. And Mrs. Mahi’ reads: The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Zareena Wahab, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Arjit Taneja and Dhirendra Gautam. Each and every actor gives a brilliant performance. Rajkumar Rao convincingly portrays a helpless son, an unsuccessful person and a failed cricketer with a thirst for fame. His chemistry with Janhvi Kapoor is remarkable and makes their on-screen marriage believable. Be it in love scenes or emotional scenes, they look like a married couple who support each other. Janhvi Kapoor again shines as a devoted wife as a simple girl from an ordinary family who sacrifices her dreams for her loved ones. Her cricket playing scenes show the effort she put in during her two years of training. Kumud Mishra perfectly captures the role of a strict father from a normal family, eager to see his son succeed. Zareena Wahab, despite having few scenes and limited dialogues, makes a significant impact especially in the climax of the film.

This is Jhanvi and Rajkumar Rao’s second film together. The actors were earlier seen in the horror comedy film ‘Roohi’.
