As per the official schedule, online reporting, including fee payment, and document verification of selected candidates are scheduled from June 20 to June 25. The deadline for answering questions for JoSAA 2024 Round 1 Admit List is June 26.

To book their respective seats candidates have to pay the booking fee as per their category i.e. candidates belonging to SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), GEN-PwD (General – Persons with Disabilities), GEN-EWS. PwD (General – Economically Weaker Section – Persons with Disabilities), OBC-NCL-PwD (Other Backward Classes – Non Creamy Layer – Persons with Disabilities), SC-PwD (Scheduled Castes – Persons with Disabilities), ST-PwD (Scheduled Tribes – Persons with Disabilities) will have to pay Rs.15,000 whereas, other category candidates will have to pay Rs.35,000 as seat booking fee.

JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment Result: Options for Candidates

• • Freeze: Select this if you are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not want to participate in any further round of JoSAA Counseling 2024.

• • Float: Choose this if you are happy with the current seat but want to be considered for seats in other institutes in the upcoming round of JoSAA seat allotment.

• • Slide: If you take the allotted seat, choose it if it is open for admission to a higher-favored course within the same institute.

• • First candidates have to visit the official website i.e. josaa.nic.in.

• • Click on the result link available on the home page.

• • Enter your credentials and click submit.

• • The result will be displayed on the candidate’s screen.

• • After watching, download the same and take a printout for future reference.
