UPSC Prelims Result 2024 Update: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE). Candidates can now access the UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2024 on the official website (upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in).

To check UPSC Prelims Result 2024, candidates need to keep their roll number and registration number handy. While the commission has conducted the UPSC Prelims exam on June 16, 2024, the UPSC IAS Prelims exam consists of two papers – General Studies and CSAT.

Here’s what the official notifications say:

“The candidature of these candidates is provisional. As per the examination rules, all these candidates have to reapply in Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024.
Dates and important instructions for filling and submission of DAF-I will be announced on the Commission’s website in due course.”

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: Steps to Check Eligible Candidates Download List

Step 1: Visit the official website (upsc.gov.in).
Step 2: Go to the written result section on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 option.
Step 4: Enter login credentials (roll number, registration, etc.).
Step 5: Submit the mandatory fields.
Step 6: UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 7: Download the UPSC Result 2024 PDF and take a printout of it for future reference.

Candidates should note that the UPSC Prelims results will be based on general studies only Although Paper 2 (CSAT) is qualifying in nature, UPSC IAS Mains Exam 2024 is tentatively scheduled to start from September 20 (as per UPSC Exam Calendar).

Candidates are also informed that CS (P) Exam, 2024 Marks, Cut off Marks and Answer Keys will be uploaded on Commission website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in after the complete process of Civil Services Exam, 2024. And Indian Forest Service Exam, 2024 is over i.e. after declaration of final result.
