Mr And Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection: ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, directed by Sharan Sharma, saw a slight dip at the box office on its second day of release. As reported by Sacnilk.com, the film has collected Rs 11 crore so far. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Got the picture 6.75 crores on the first day of its release. It was collected on the second day ₹4.50 crore nett in India as per early estimates. So far Mr. and Mrs. Mahi have won ₹11.25 crores. The film had an overall Hindi penetration of 20.13% on Saturday.

The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Zareena Wahab, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Arjit Taneja and Dhirendra Gautam. Each and every actor gives a brilliant performance. Rajkumar Rao convincingly portrays a helpless son, an unsuccessful person and a failed cricketer with a thirst for fame. His chemistry with Janhvi Kapoor is remarkable and makes their on-screen marriage believable.

Be it in love scenes or emotional scenes, they look like a married couple who support each other. Janhvi Kapoor again shines as a devoted wife as a simple girl from an ordinary family who sacrifices her dreams for her loved ones. Her cricket playing scenes show the effort she put in during her two years of training. Kumud Mishra perfectly captures the role of a strict father from a normal family, eager to see his son succeed. Zareena Wahab, despite having few scenes and limited dialogues, makes a significant impact especially in the climax of the film.

About Mr. and Mrs. Mahi

The romantic drama stars Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, along with Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zareena Wahab, and others. The trailer reveals in flashback scenes that Rajkumar’s character’s dream of joining the national Indian cricket team is shattered and he struggles to cope. Realizing that Jhanvi’s character can play cricket, he decides to train her.

The film marks the second collaboration between Jhanvi Kapoor and director Sharan Sharma and also the second collaboration between Jhanvi and Rajkumar Rao, who previously appeared together in “Roohi”.
