On Tuesday, Indira took to her Instagram handle to post a picture with co-star Ranbir Kapoor. The latter wore a light blue half-sleeve shirt and matching jeans, while Indira wore a red kurti.

“Animaling…❤️….Thank you Ranbir…costar for your care, love, kindness and your wonderful gestures,” she captioned her post.

About Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

For the uninitiated, according to multiple media portals, Indira Krishna will play the role of Lord Rama’s mother Queen Kaushalya in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film. Earlier, the actress played the role of Rashmika Mandana’s mother in the Ranbir starrer ‘Animal’.

Coming to other actors, pictures of Ranbir and Sai Pallavi portraying Lord Rama and Seetha Devi went viral on social media. Earlier, leaked pictures of Arun Govilin and Lara Dutta suggested that they will play King Dasharath and Queen Kekkei respectively. The makers and Nitesh have kept the project under wraps and no details about the cast or characters have been officially revealed. According to some rumours, Bobby Deol, Vijay Sethupathi and Sunny Deol might play Kumbhakaran, Vibhishan and Lord Hanuman respectively.

The movie ‘Ramayanam’ is based on the ancient epic of the same name written by sage Valmiki. Earlier, a television show aired on Doordarshan starring Arun (Govil), Deepika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri was very popular.
