Educational Qualification

▶ Constable :- The Applicant Must Have Passed Madhyamik Examination From The West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education / Its Equivalent.

▶ Sub Inspector :- The Applicant Must Have A Bachelor’s Degree In Any Discipline From A Recognized University Or Its Equivalent.

 Language:- The Applicant Must Be Able Read And Write The Bengali Language To Speak . However, This Provision Will Not Be Applicable To The Persons Who Are Permanent Residents Of Hill Sub-Divisions Of Darjeeling And Kalimpong Districts. (Ii) For The Applicant Of Hill Sub-Divisions Of Darjeeling And Kalimpong Districts, The Provisions Laid Down In The West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 Will Be Applicable.

Note :-

 Male Candidates For The Post Of Sub-Inspector Of Police (UB) And Sub-Inspector Of Police (AB) In West Bengal Police:- 800 Metres Run Within 03 (Three) Minutes.

 Female Candidates For The Post Of Lady Sub-Inspector (UB) In West Bengal Police:- 400 Metres Run Within 02 (Two) Minutes.
