G7 deal on Minimum Global Corporate Tax

Recently, Group of seven (G7) advanced economies signed a landmark deal on taxing multinational companies.
According to the deal, the minimum global tax rate will have to be reduced to at least 15 percent.
The key points of agreement were signed by the finance ministers of the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Canada, France, Italy and Japan. This opens the way for tariffs on multinationals.
