- MoWCD launches ‘Stree Manoraksha’ Project
- The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) and NIMHANS Bengaluru launched the ‘Stree Manoraksha Project’ on Wednesday with the goal of improving the mental health of women in India.
- The project will focus on enhancing the capacity of OSC (One-Stop Centre) officers in terms of tools and procedures to deal with women visiting one-stop centres, especially those who have dealt with violence and distress with compassion and care. have experienced.
- The one-stop center performed commendably during the COVID times. There are already over 700 one-stop centers operating across the country.
- The people working in these one-stop shops will be taught how to properly operate the Self Defense Shaheed Mahila Helpline and will be mentored.

- Rajasthan govt announces ‘Camel Protection and Development Policy’
- Rajasthan, State Government has announced ‘Camel Conservation and Development Policy’ in its budget 2022-23. According to government figures, less than two lakh camels are left in Rajasthan and the number of camels across the country has decreased by 1.5 lakh since 2012.
- There were around 2.5 lakh camels left when they were last counted in 2019. Camel is the state animal of Rajasthan and their numbers are continuously decreasing.
- The Rajasthan government had declared the camel as the state animal in 2014. About 85 percent of the country’s camels are found in Rajasthan, followed by Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
- World Camel Day is celebrated every year on 22nd June to recognize the importance of camels for the livelihood of a large population.

- RBI cancelled licence of Sarjeraodada Naik Shirala Sahakari Bank
- The Reserve Bank of India has canceled the license of Sarjerodada Nayak Shirala Sahakari Bank, Sangli, Maharashtra, as it did not have sufficient capital and earning prospects.
- With the cancellation of the licence, Sarjerodada Naik Shirala Sahakari Bank Ltd. has ceased to do banking business with effect from the close of business on March 2. The bank is not complying with various sections of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
- Upon liquidation, each depositor shall be entitled to receive deposit insurance claim amount from the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) up to a monetary limit of Rs.5 lakh.

- Tata Motors has launched a mobile showroom (Showroom on Wheels) named ‘Anubhav’ to target rural customers by expanding its reach in rural areas and providing them with a home-grown car buying experience. Tata Motors will deploy a total of 103 mobile showrooms across the country to increase Tata Motors brand awareness in rural India.

- Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh has created a Guinness record by lighting 11.71 lakh earthen lamps in 10 minutes. Diyas were lit as part of the ‘Shiv Jyoti Arpanam Mahotsav’ on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
