- China Launches Robot Prototype ‘NEO-01’ Clear Space Debris
- The Chinese government has launched a robot prototype called government NEO-01 ‘in low orbit of Earth on its Long On 6 rocket.
- The 30 kg robot prototype has been developed by Shenzhen-based space mining start-up ‘Origin Space’.
- Inspecting small celestial bodies in deep space and experimenting with space debris removal techniques.
- NEO-01 will use a large net to catch debris left behind by another spacecraft and then burn it using its electric propulsion system.

- ADB Projects India’s GDP to grow 11% in FY22
- Manila-based Asian Development Bank (ADB) has estimated India’s economy growth rate in its latest flagship Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2021 as follows:

- The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested the 5th generation Python-5 air-to-air missile (AAM) from the Tejas aircraft in Goa. It adds the Python-5 air-to-air missile (AAM) to Tejas’ air-to-air weapons package, India’s indigenously developed light combat aircraft.
- The main objective of the tests is to validate the increasing capacity of the already integrated Derby Beyond Visual Range (BVR) AAM on Tejas. The Python-5 air-to-air missile (AAM) is built by Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense System and is one of the world’s most state-of-the-art guided missiles.
