Union Petroleum Minister flags off low carbon cruise on Mahabahu Brahmaputra

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep S Puri inaugurated the demo run of an inland water vessel powered by Methanol Blended Diesel (MD15) on 24 January.
Sailed on a 50-seater motor launch sea vessel named ‘SB Gangadhar’. The ship is powered by two Ruston-built diesel engines (105 horsepower each). The ship is powered by MD-15 (15 percent mixed HSD).

After Co-WIN, the government launches U-WIN, knowing everything

After the success of the Co-WIN platform, the central government has now launched a new program called U-WIN with the objective of registration and vaccination of pregnant women. This program to digitize India’s Universal Immunization Program (UIP) has been launched in pilot mode in two districts in each state and union territory.

AU Small Finance Bank, India’s largest Small Finance Bank, announced the launch of the SwipeUp Platform – a first-of-its-kind platform in the credit card industry. With this platform, AU Bank will allow other bank credit card holders to upgrade their cards to one of the AU Credit Cards.
The bank has provided a platform to compare the existing credit cards of the customers within 2-3 seconds. Within minutes, they can upgrade the credit limit, cashback, and reward points with a quick end-to-end digital process to match the card to their current lifestyle.

SS Rajamouli’s film RRR has made it to the Oscar nominations. The song Natu-Natu from the movie has officially joined the Oscar race in the Best Original Song category.
After winning the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards, the film officially entered the Academy Awards race. Earlier, Natu-Natu received the Golden Globe for the Best Original Song category. The song also won the Critics’ Choice Award in the same category.

Banwarilal Purohit inaugurated North India’s largest floating solar project in Chandigarh

Chandigarh Administrator and Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit recently inaugurated North India’s largest floating solar project of 2000 KWP.
A 2000 KWP floating solar power plant has been commissioned at Water Works in Sector 39 at a cost of Rs 11.70 crore. He also inaugurated a 500 KWP floating solar power plant set up on Dhanas Lake. It was constructed at a cost of Rs 3.34 crore.
