India’s official Olympic theme song ‘Lakshya Tera Samne Hai’ released

The official Olympic theme song for the Indian contingent was launched even before the Tokyo Games.
The song “Lakshya Tera Saamne Hai” is sung by Mohit Chauhan. The Games will start on 23rd July and so far more than 100 Indian athletes have qualified for the event. The event was organized by IOA and was attended by its President, General Secretary, Deputy chief de Mission, Sports Secretary, and Director General of the Sports Authority of India (SAI). Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju was the chief guest at the event.

NTPC wins recognition of India’s best employers among Nation-Builders 2021

NTPC recognized as India’s Best Employer in 2021 for the first time among nation-builders. NTPC has been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for the 15th year in a row. It has been ranked 38th and last year it was ranked 47th.
It also earned its first recognition of India’s Best Employers in 2021 among nation-builders. It operates as a Maharatna community and public sector unit under the Ministry of Power.

The final day of the match was played on 23 June 2021, in which the match saw 6 days of play instead of the regular 5 days due to rain. In which Kyle Jamieson (NZ) was adjudged “Player of the Match”, while Kane Williamson (NZ) was adjudged “Player of the Series”.
The first Test Championship started in 2019, which was stalled due to some reasons, its final will be played in 2021.
As a result, there are only three teams left: first: New Zealand; Second- India; Third – Australia.
The final match was played at the Ageas Bowl Stadium (Rose Bowl Stadium) in Southampton, England.
The next Test Championship is scheduled to be held between 2021-2023.

Moody’s Revises India’s GDP growth rate to 9.6%

Moody’s Investors Service has lowered or downgraded India’s growth forecast for the 2021 calendar year to 9.6 percent from its earlier estimate of 13.9 percent. For the calendar year 2022, the GDP growth rate is projected to be 7 percent.

Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced the launch of a new facility Named ‘Pay Your Contact’, which enables its customers to send or pay money to any of their contacts across all payment apps through the beneficiary’s mobile number.
The ‘Pay Your Contact’ service is available on the lender’s mobile banking app and uses the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform.
The ‘Pay Your Contact’ feature on the Kotak Mobile Banking App has made payments as easy and as simple as possible. Kotak customers can now easily make payments to any of their friends, domestic helpers, neighborhood shops,s, etc. without any difficulty just by knowing the mobile number of the beneficiary.
