Kerala Becomes First State To Introduce Carbon-Neutral Farming

Kerala is set to become the first country in the country to start carbon-neutral farming for better soil health.
For this, about one crore rupees has been set aside by the state government. 6 crore has been given in the budget of 2022-23.
In the first phase carbon-neutral farming will be implemented in 13 farms in agriculture department and tribal areas and steps are being taken to convert state seed farm into carbon-neutral farm at Aluva. In the second phase, model carbon neutral farms are to be developed in all 140 assembly constituencies.

Ministry of Jal Shakti launches Sujlam 2.0 Campaign

Ministry of Jal Shakti has launched Sujalam 2.0 campaign for greywater management on the occasion of World Water Day which is observed on 22nd March. It was launched by the Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the morning.
This year’s theme for the Sujalam 2.0 campaign is ‘Groundwater: Making the Invisible Visible’.
The main objective of Sujalam 2.0 is to manage greywater through people’s participation. Under the campaign, we are planning to mobilize and mobilize communities and our institutions like Panchayats, Schools, Anganwadis for greywater management.

Kotak, Axis acquire 7.84% stake each in ONDC

Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank have acquired Meaning Partnership, a 7.84% stake in Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
Earlier, SBI (7.84%) and PNB (9.5%) also participated in ONDC.
ONDC was incorporated in India on December 30, 2021 with the objective and objective of creating an open public digital infrastructure to grow and transform the Indian digital commerce ecosystem for both goods and services.

Pushkar Singh Dhami takes oath as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for second term

BJP’s Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for a second term on March 23, 2022.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Parade Ground in Dehradun, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and others attended.
Pushkar Singh Dhami was first appointed as the Chief Minister in 2021, becoming the youngest Chief Minister of Uttarakhand at the age of 45.
Polling was held for 70 seats in the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly elections, in which the BJP won 47 seats.
