  • Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second consecutive time on March 25, 2022.
  • UP Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath to re-elected CM Adityanath.
  • The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many other ministers also attended the ceremony and heard his oath.
  • CM Adityanath is the first such Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to return to power for the second term after completing the full term of five years.

  • The Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani inaugurated the ten-day long mega Red Fort Festival named ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ at Red Fort, Delhi on March 25, 2022.

  • The Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) was inaugurated by the Governor of RBI, Shri Shaktikanta Das on March 24, 2022 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
  • RBI has also set up RBIH with an initial capital contribution of Rs. 100 crores. RBIH aims to encourage, promote and nurture financial innovation in a sustainable manner through an institutional framework.
  • Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) is one of the five wholly owned subsidiaries of RBI.

  • The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has approved the extension of the term of its Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg by one year until September 30, 2023.
